This release is an important milestone for STEL Order and for all companies that need to manage the stock of several warehouses.

Businesses with several stores, vans where you need to control the stock, companies that buy and sell products in different places. The truth is that many companies have the need to manage the stock of several warehouses and this is something complicated that we have made it easy.

In fact, we have created the simplest, most powerful and mobile way to manage N warehouses.

As always we have taken the opportunity to introduce several improvements and small features that make the software you use better.

1 – Several improvements and small functionalities that help you in your day-to-day work

New fields and filters to manage your receipts better. You can now add new columns in your receipt listings: “Created by” and “Agent” of the invoice and “Collected by” of the receipt. We have also added the corresponding filters to help you manage your receipts and payments.

Employee photo in the employee lists.Tell your employees to put a profile picture on their STEL Order to facilitate the assignment of incidents, events and other documents.

Include images, tables and other content in the attachments of your documents. We have included a parameter in the configuration of your templates (“Addendum as image:” in the “Comments andaddendums” tab) with which you can have the rich HTML content that you include in the attachments of your documents converted into an image and displayed in the pdf of your invoices, estimates and other documents.

The heaviest reports are now faster.We have introduced different optimizations in several of the most computationally expensive reports in order to get you the information you need even faster.

  • Speed optimization in Sales report by employee.
  • Speed optimization in the reporting of incidents by employee.
  • Speed optimization in SAT reporting per employee.

Line searches are now much faster. This is also a computationally expensive process and we have optimized it so that you can search the contents of your invoices and other documents faster.

Full synchronization of apps is now faster.We have optimized the full app sync process so that it takes less time. Especially if you are one of those who have a lot of data on your STEL Order you will notice that your full syncs are now faster.

All related documents of a product at a glance.We have also optimized the obtaining of the list of Related Parties of a Product, Service or Expense and Investment.

Improvements in the SMTP mail configuration.We have improved the processes for configuring and sending e-mails via SMTP.

2 – STEL Order Beta for Android is getting more and more top

A few months ago we invited you to use the Beta of STEL Order for Android on which we are applying a deep refactor to make it more robust and scalable and a restyling  to make it more beautiful and usable.

We greatly appreciate the work that many of you are doing as beta testers to help us take the STEL Order Android app to the next level. Your feedback helps us greatly to achieve the level of excellence you deserve.

If you haven’t tried the new STEL Order Beta for Android yet, we invite you to do so because you’re going to love it. Of course, we have carried out this process in a way that makes it easy and natural for you to work with the new app.

3 – Improvements and new functionalities in electronic invoicing for Mexico and Chile

Regarding the issuance of CFDI 3.3 electronic invoices for Mexico, a new certificate expiration control mechanism has been implemented, so that STEL Order will notify you when your certificate has expired, so that you can request a new one.

In addition, the new unit of measure “Saco” has been included in the SAT’s catalog of units of measure.

Regarding the issuance of DTE electronic tax documents for Chile, a new certificate expiration control mechanism has been implemented, so that STEL Order will notify you when your certificate has expired, so that you can request a new one.

On the other hand, from now on you will be able to reference in your sales documents, not only Purchase Orders, but also Service Entry Sheets or Goods Receipt Sheets, being able to link as many documents of this type as you need for each sales document.

Finally, the DTEs for electronic export invoice credit notes (DTE type 112) have been incorporated into STEL Order.

 

4 – New “Multi-warehouse” functionality.  The simplest, most powerful and mobile way to manage several warehouses.

We have achieved a major milestone for STEL Order and for thousands of companies that will now be able to better manage their stock.

This is one of the most demanded functionalities over the years. We wanted to transcend in the design and development of this functionality to provide the smartest way to manage your warehouses.

A store, the central warehouse, a van… with STEL Order you can easily manage all your warehouses with the new Multi-warehouse functionality.

Add this premium functionality to your subscription and manage as many warehouses as you need in the most simple, powerful and mobile way.

Now in the Stock section of a product you will see a list showing the available stock in each of your warehouses. You can edit it to regularize it and consult the history of incoming and outgoing movements that a product has had in a certain warehouse.

You can model the visibility of your warehousesby adding members and assigning them customized permissions. For example, you can make it so that a member can use his own warehouse (add and remove products) and can only consult the stock available in the main warehouse, but cannot make movements.

We have developed this functionality with the power and versatility you need. When you create documents, you can indicate that a specific warehouse or several warehouses are used. In this way you can define for each line which warehouses are used with a single document, the corresponding movements in the different warehouses are performed automatically. For example, it is sufficient to make a single work order, when a technician performs an installation in which he uses consumables that are in his van warehouse and also some equipment that he takes from the main warehouse.

When you transfer goods between your warehouses, it is sufficient to perform astock transfer from your PC or cell phone,indicating the warehouse of origin and destination warehouse and the list of products and units you are transferring.
